Amisha Patel was born on 9 June 1975 in Mumbai. Amisha’s brother Ashmit Patel is also associated with the film industry. Amisha belongs to a Sindhi-Punjabi family. Amisha Patel took admission in engineering from UK but after studying for two years, she switched to another subject.
Amisha Patel joined theatre in Mumbai to learn acting. She started her career with modelling. She did advertisements for big brands like ‘Bajaaz’, ‘Fair and Lovely’, ‘Cadbury’, ‘Fame’ and ‘Lux’. Rakesh Roshan gave Amisha a big break.
Amisha Patel made her Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan in the year 2000 with the film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. This film proved to be a blockbuster and Amisha got recognition across the country with her first film itself. Everyone was enamored with Amisha’s beauty at that time.

Amisha Patel’s third film was Humraaz which was released in the year 2002. This murder mystery film starring Amisha Patel with Bobby Deol and Akshay Khanna also made a huge profit at the box office.
Amisha Patel earned the tag of a big actress in the industry by giving back to back big films. According to media reports, Amisha became the highest paid actress of that era.
After this, Amisha did many films but her hit films include films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Race 2’, ‘Kranti’, ‘Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai’, ‘Parwana’. Amisha did flop films for many years, so she started getting less work.
In the year 2023, Ameesha Patel once again appeared in the film Gadar 2. This film also earned a lot at the box office. Ameesha Patel is very active on Instagram and has 5 million followers on it.
